Platform screen doors installed on lines L2 and L3
Platform screen doors at every L2 and L3 station in the Barcelona metro simulator. Password-protected track access, local control at the platform head and from the CCM.
MetroSim now has platform screen doors at every station on L2 and L3 in the Barcelona metro simulator. They close the gap between the platform and the train and stop anyone falling onto the track. The photo shows the Paral·lel platform, L2 towards La Pau.
Next to the passenger doors there is a track-access door for maintenance. It only opens with a password.
At the head of each platform there is a box to open and close the platform doors by hand. They can also be controlled from the Metro Control Centre (CCM).
